Diid You Know?
Local Laws 92 and 96 require the installation of either a solar PV or green roof, or a combination of the two, on all new construction buildings, or buildings undergoing major renovations, meaning those which require a building permit.

This course is an introduction to green roof construction, installation, and maintenance. Topics include green roof benefits and incentives, planting types, waterproofing, roof membranes, drainage, horticulture, and irrigation. Two working site visits to local green roof projects are included. Through hands-on learning, students will become prepared to design, install and maintain a green roof.
