Blueprint reading is a fundamental skill for contractors, building staff, real estate professionals and homeowners who are preparing for a renovation.  The ability to understand construction documents lets you take your job skills to a higher level. This introductory class teaches you to navigate through the plans, elevations, sections and drawing symbols that make up a typical set of construction documents. Once you've learned the basic terminology, you'll go on to design your own set of plans.  Please bring photos of a room you want to change along with the room's dimensions. Pencils, tracing paper, triangles and T-squares are provided. The instructor for this course has completed several large scale renovations in Brownstone Brooklyn.
