Recommended for students with weak or no background in electricity, this class prepares students to take PVI 202 NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate™ (Previously NABCEP Entry Level PV Design & Installation). Students will learn to understand power, current voltage, resistance, Ohms Law and Watts Law and will create the types of complex math calculations that are used to design and install Solar PV systems. This course provides an excellent foundation for the conceptual and practical skills needed to work in the Solar PV field. Hands-on training at our working Solar PV Training lab combine with in- class lectures to prepare students for our NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate class.

Basic Math and Electric for Photovoltaics is required for entry into PVI 202 NABCEP PV Associate except with written permission from the coordinator.
